Pasta Bean Soup - it didn't happen!

Sometimes the best laid plans don't pan out.  I had the beans cooking in the crockpot and told my husband that I had ran out of time to make the soup.  (I had a social gathering to go to.)  Anyway, he thought the beans in the crockpot WAS the soup and fed it to The Apron Strings with rice.  NOPE....they were barely flavored beans, honey.  So....this will be on next week's menu.  They all LOVED the beans, so they should LOVE the soup.  Me....I had crackers, cheese, cucumbers and a couple or three of K.T.'s Famous Mudslides for dinner.  Well....they are famous here in FC!  Happy Cooking!!!
